We need to slow down \u2026 hurrah for Slow Life*!\r\n\r\nThe Slow Life movement is rich and we won\u2019t describe it in this post. We are going to focus on how companies consider well-being at work for its staff, and how brands care for the consumers\u2019 one.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><sub>*The central tenet of the slow philosophy is taking the time to do things properly, and thereby enjoy them more.<\/sub><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--heading\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Well-being at work, companies\u2019 new motto<\/h2>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who\u2019s never heard of stress at work, burn-out or even bore-out? Employees are under pressure. Companies are increasingly aware of this discontent and mobilize to fight this 21<sup>st<\/sup> century suffering. For human and social reasons first, but also for economic reasons\u2026<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because, as a Forbes article mentioned it: \u201c<em>We\u2019re at the beginning of a sea-change in attitudes toward work. So shorter work weeks and Slow Cities won\u2019t be mainstream tomorrow. But there are plentiful signs of the shift. Sweden has moved to the six-hour work day. Imaginative U.S. companies such as 37signals and Treehouse have put in place and maintained four-day weeks, noting an improvement in staff retention and output quality. Even Carlos Slim, the world\u2019s richest person, has recently called for a 3-day work week and&nbsp;Google&nbsp;is increasingly experimenting in lowering hours and thus increasing employee creativity and efficiency.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ESII\u2019s management board put <strong>well-being at work<\/strong> and more globally <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thehypertextual.com\/2010\/06\/03\/liberating-leadership-why-happy-workplaces-make-world-class-businesses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">f-form company<\/a><\/strong> at the heart of their strategy.\u00a0 To enable their staff to work in optimum conditions and because their well-being is a major stake, they chose to offer working tools and places that are both functional and adapted.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--heading\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Favor local production, be environmental friendly \u2026 we want to \u201cwell\u201d consume and take our time<\/h2>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have more time for oneself and for our friends and family, go to \u201ctech rehab\u201d are needs that we all feel once in our life. <em>This Slow Life<\/em> website very well described it: \u201c<em>Most of us today are consumed with speed. We work<\/em><em> quickly, play quickly, love quickly \u2013 all while multi-tasking. We drive in the fast lane and eat fast food. We text instead of talk, pursue quantity instead of quality, and swallow life whole instead of taking the time to savor it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In ESII, we\u2019ve understood this \u2026 beyond managing waiting lines, we do our best to improve visitors and customers\u2019 well-being. <strong>We take their time, stress and priorities into account so they have a smoother visit and pleasant experience.<\/strong> Indirectly, we help facilities (stores, administrations, pharmacies, hospitals, etc.) to improve their customers\u2019 life quality and thus the trust they share.
