Mr. de Almeida, manager of the store, clearly exposes the facts: \u201cdowntown, we need to optimize every square centimeter, sometimes to the detriment of the customer journey. Here, the store has 2 levels and the 3 self-service checkouts are in front on the 3 traditional checkouts. The customers waited in a single line, but they didn\u2019t understand how to do it and where to go. The nearest cashier needed to direct the customer flow by yelling all day long.\u201d<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--textimage image-right\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n\n <div class=\"ps-block__img\">\n <figure class=\"lazy-image\">\n <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg' viewBox='0 0 600 600'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\"\n data-src=\"https:\/\/esiiblog.com\/app\/uploads\/2023\/05\/file-unique-ezq-600x430.webp\"\n data-srcset=\"https:\/\/esiiblog.com\/app\/uploads\/2023\/05\/file-unique-ezq-600x430.webp 600w\"\n sizes=\"auto, 600px\"\n alt=\"\"\n width=\"600\"\n height=\"600\"\n >\n <\/figure>\n <\/div>\n\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__text\">\n <p>Consulted on this item, ESII offered its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esii.com\/en\/solutions\/single-line-queuing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eZQ\u2122 single line solution<\/a>\u00a0that allows to manage the wait and to distribute the customers to the available checkout. A screen at the end of the queue displays the checkout to go to. Mr. de Almeida goes on, \u201cthe single line was the solution we waited for. The customers are reassured about the checkout process, we display the waiting time and where to go. This increases the satisfaction.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>If the wait at checkout for the customers induces less stress, \u201cthat improves also the experience\u201d for the cashiers\u201d and they are \u201cmore relaxed\u201d according to the manager. He says too that \u201cbefore no one wanted to work at the closest checkout to the customers knowing that he would have to direct them. Now, the customer can\u2019t be wrong thanks to the display.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>In this case, eZQ\u2122 improved widely the customer experience in store by decreasing the wait to \u201cless than 5 minutes\u201d according to Mr. de Almeida.
