The first step of a good patient support lies in triage: patients are labeled by emergency level. To help staff (often Emergency Nurse Practitioners \u2013 ENPs), solutions exist. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esii.com\/en\/solutions\/keo-connected-kiosk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Touch screen kiosks<\/strong><\/a><strong> direct patients and provide them with a bar code<\/strong>. The ENP selects the emergency level on the kiosk and gives the patient their ticket.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--heading\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #2: Direct The Patient and Reassure The Accompanying Person<\/h2>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>Once patients are supported, they have to be directed to the right service and be informed about their waiting conditions via video screens that broadcast calls. <strong>The patient is reassured that the hospital has them well supported<\/strong>. The accompanying person can also be informed about the patient\u2019s status at any time thanks to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esii.com\/en\/solutions\/patient-journey-hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new identification by bar code solution<\/a>. Indeed, a bar code is added on the reception ticket (provided by the ENP) and the accompanying person can scan it over a reader. An information SMS can also be sent to them.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--heading\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #3: Improve Staff Management<\/h2>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>Optimizing patients\u2019 flows deals also with improving care staff management. By offering them an intuitive, easy to use and efficient tool, inflows are centralized and quickly analyzed.
