Indeed, QWL is a global concept that appeared in the 1950s, with Eric Trist, of the Tavistock Institute in London, within the framework of research updating the limits of Taylorism.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>Two foundations then emerged. In the USA, it was born in the\u00a0<strong>1960s<\/strong>, following the work of\u00a0<strong>Maslow<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Mc Gr\u00e9gor<\/strong>\u00a0on the \u201c<strong>needs<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>motivation factors<\/strong>\u201d of employees. The term rather oriented towards personal development was first mentioned <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dspmuranchi.ac.in\/pdf\/Blog\/u5%20p1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in\u00a0<strong>1972<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at an\u00a0<strong>international conference in New York<\/strong>.\u00a0On the European side, it will be perceived more as a concept aiming to have a work collective pushing for employee participation. The appearance of this concept to renew the working conditions for employees given that all the actions implemented, aim to boost the motivation and commitment of everyone.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>The wording QWL can be perceived differently according to each individual. But globally collectively, it corresponds to the\u00a0<strong>feeling of well-being at work<\/strong>\u00a0and from an individual point of view, it encompasses the\u00a0<strong>atmosphere<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>culture of the company<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>interest of the work<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>working conditions<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>feeling of involvement<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>degree of autonomy and accountability<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>equality<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>recognition and valuation of the work done<\/strong>.[2]\u00a0This approach is therefore based on a set of actions aimed at the personal and professional development of each employee. The <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.gymlib.com\/fr\/sujets-rh\/qvt\/initiatives-qvt-les-5-entreprises-qui-vont-vous-inspirer-en-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OpinionWay &amp; Gymlib survey<\/a> establishes priority factors for employees:<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--list\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\"><ul>\n <li>\n<li>Respondents agreed 95% that life balance was an essential factor.<\/li>\n<\/li>\n <li>\n<li>Followed by having an interesting job (94%), <\/li>\n<\/li>\n <li>\n<li>Having sleep (92%)<\/li>\n<\/li>\n <li>\n<li>Having access to physical and sporting activities (74%).<\/li>\n<\/li>\n <\/ul><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>The covid-19 crisis has only\u00a0<strong>accentuated the importance of having a healthy and attractive work environment<\/strong>. Indeed, at the start of the pandemic, companies had to react quickly by changing their organizations, with work from home as the first indicator. This new practice has upset the habits of workers who have seen their daily lives change. This is why companies have had to, and still have to, regularly monitor employees in order to best adapt to their requirements. In addition, post-crisis management begins with the search for well-being and quality of life after this dizzying period, which appear to be the two real levers of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.santetravail-fp.fr\/crise-sanitaire\/comprendre\/crise-du-covid-19-quels-enjeux-en-matiere-de-qvt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">motivation and productivity<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--heading\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ESII and quality of working life<\/h2>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"ps-block ps-block--paragraph\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__container\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__grid\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__content\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__body\">\n <div class=\"ps-block__item\">\n \n<p>At ESII, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esii.com\/en\/qualite-vie-travail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">quality of life at work is a\u00a0<strong>priority<\/strong><\/a>. In addition, many events are offered internally to maintain this link, such as the outing to the Fabr\u00e8gues golf course, the breakfast presentation of the website\u2026 Many efforts are made so that the company\u2019s employees\u00a0<strong>evolve in a positive atmosphere<\/strong>. Recently, during the reception of the Montpellier Cl\u00e9menceau second chance school in the premises, the working atmosphere was an aspect raised by the students who\u00a0<strong>confided during their reporting that they felt good in a company<\/strong>\u00a0where the employees themselves, seem to be fulfilled.
